What is the actual difference when ubuntu is on the computer.?
is it just a backround? or is it an program that makes windows run faster.

Hi Will,
Ubuntu has nothing to do with Windows. It is an operating system based on Linux. Like Mac OS X is an operating system which has nothing to do with Windows.

I know for the sake of familiarity but aside that fact why would you disrespect your desktop by making it look like anything windows
